Preferred candidates will have:
– Electrical experience
– Ability to replace electrical components
– Experience with simple wiring/conduit installs
– Working knowledge of building maintenance, air compression, hydraulics, grounds maintenance, PLC, electrical single, 3-phase, and general machine repair
– Fabrication experience

– Minimum two years of industrial experience including plant maintenance experience.

General Job Description:

  • Installing mulch for schools, HOA’s, residential homes, and other various clients and properties

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow direction and instruction from Crew Leaders and Account Managers
  • The ability to work collaboratively with people very different from yourself with humility and authenticity
  • Experience and aptitude for landscape maintenance work
  • To work long hours outside in various weather conditions, heat, cold, rain, etc.,
  • All required to be done for up to 10 hours or more a day:
    While performing the essential duties of the job, the position requires physical abilities such as heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 – 75 pounds, manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement
  • In addition, working conditions include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, outdoor air conditions, extreme temperatures and weather conditions, intense noise, hazardous materials, or lifting or carrying heavy objects.
  • The employee must be always physically coherent and aware especially when dealing with heavy machinery, equipment or while driving.
  • Take care of all equipment, materials and uniforms assigned to you: neat and clean appearance as well as adherence to company dress policy required
  • Perform loading and unloading of power equipment, tools, materials and debris each day to/from vehicles
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment used
  • Understand what the final product needs to look like. 
  • Leave the job site clean of all debris- mulch, personal trash etc.
  • Pulling and maneuvering mulch blowing hose in a pattern that is effective and efficient
  • Use of backpack blower to do clean up and do the final detail work on the landscaping leaving a clean, crisp, enhanced look.
  • Follow Company’s safety policies, guidelines and instructions
  • Practice consistent dependability, attendance and adheres to work schedules

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Clean driving record
  • Outdoor working environment – exposure to weather elements
  • Lift up to 75lbs on a frequent basis
  • Potential overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred CDL Class B or willing to become CDL B licensed.

General Job Description:

  • Heavy equipment operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a mulching/wood center and the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting wood waste, mulch or soil in an efficient and safe manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors are clean. Safely and efficiently operate equipment that may include: forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader, and other heavy equipment using proper safety standards.
  • Continuously monitor mulch areas for evidence of hazards inclusive of fire.
  • Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all time to minimize down time; clean tracks or wheels on equipment as needed.
  • Perform and document minor service on equipment referring more complicated mechanical issues to maintenance for repair.
  • Complete equipment condition report and other reports as necessary; report any necessary repairs to supervisor as needed.
  • Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that equipment is cleaned, serviced, and stored properly at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

  • Customer service interaction with internal and external customers for loading top side trailers, being courteous and cooperative towards customers and co-workers.
  • Time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Follow through ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they rise.
  • Adhere to Company policies and rules set forth, promote Company’s safety standards and does not take inappropriate risks.

  • Sun, Mon, Tues, Sat – 4:00 am to 4:00 pm

General Job Description:

  • Operators are required to maintain the pellet mill and bagging system, use simple math skills, follow proper procedures, lift up to 40 pounds during the course of an 8 hour shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quality control of pellets produced from the operator with machine adjustments.
  • Use of other equipment such as forklift, pneumatic tools, hand tools, dial indicators, ,
  • Bag roll change outs, making adjustments as needed for stacking pallet.
  • Stretch wrap finished pallet product, move with forklift to stage area or flat bed trailer.
  • Keep area neat, clean at all times through general housekeeping duties ensuring a better quality product and working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Able to follow basic instructions.
  • Work independently at times.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance staff on mechanical issues.
